PILE is a very revolutionary tissue with recent origins, very comfortable. The Pile is an interesting fiber, because it holds warm as the wool, but with different advantages. Contrarily of the wool, it is not heavy and, if wet, it doesn’t need a lot of time to dry. Besides it doesn’t need particular precautions for the washing. To the beginning the Pile was used above all for the sporting attire, but the positive aspects of this fiber have also made her now very popular in the sector of the horse riding. Pile doesn’t absorb the water: in an environment with the 85 percent of damp, it absorbs only the 1 percent of it. WHAT DOES MEAN “PILE?” The fiber of departure is the polyester, that can be worked in different way. In some cases other synthetic fibers as polyamide are added, acrylic, elastane. The Pile it is the result of a particular workmanship, that is able to make it soft and voluminous. A fiber worked in this way contains a lot of air and is therefore able to be a good thermal insulator and great property of perspiration. WASHING: Pile can be washed to 30 or 40°C max. It dries in hurry. It must not be bleached. WEIGHT: The weight it is very light, especially in relation to the thickness. PILE DON’T TIGHTEN: We recommend however to always follow the indication of maintenance.
